“All who shall hereafter live in freedom will be here
reminded that to these men and their comrades we owe a debt
to be paid with grateful remembrance of their sacrifice
and with the high resolve that the cause for which
they died shall live eternally.”
Dwight D. Eisenhower – Supreme Allied Commander

MEET THE ORGANISERS
HorseBack UK is an award winning charity that has been delivering well being courses to the military for over fifteen years.
The award winning charity has also served many different communities outside the military, including disadvantaged youngsters and NHS personnel, however the core business has always been to serve the wounded injured and sick amongst the UK Service community.
The charity uses horses and horse behaviour to help individuals learn about themselves amd how to reconnect with the world post injury, mental and physical.
We envision a future where every service member and Veteran receives comprehensive support from the Equine Immersion Foundation, enabling them to achieve optimal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Equine Immersion Foundation is a nationally recognized leader in the field of equine assisted services for active duty military, special forces, veterans and their families. The Project has facilitated thousands of hours of therapeutic support to provide decompression, promote healing and empower growth through the power of the horse.
It is a privilege and an honour to help bring military veterans of recent conflicts from the United Kingdom (HorseBack UK) the USA (Equine Immersion Foundation) and across France together for The Remembrance Rides. Assuring the participation of former racehorses in this mission helps to showcase the role they play in programmes helping military veterans across the globe and the power of the horse to help humans. The international impact of this event will be considerable and we are proud to be riding alongside an amazing team building an ongoing living legacy to D-Day and The Battle of Normandy incorporating the horse, without whom civilisation would not be as it is today.
